Hello! I'm going to show you how to make three stocking stuffer ideas and they are all perfect DIY Christmas gift ideas. I'll show you how to make a jewelry gift box, a tiny owl toy, and a candy treat bag.
Lets get started!
Simple DIY Jewelry Gift Box
You want to find a plastic or wooden container in any shape or size.
Then you want to make a bow out of ribbon and glue it onto the lid of the container with a glue gun.
If you want you can glue a jewel on the middle of the bow.
When you get your box done, you can put jewelry into the box and the container that you use can also be used as a jewelry box.
DIY Tiny Toy Owl
The second idea I will show you how to make is the tiny toy owl. The DIY tiny toy owl is so cute and it can be any size. The DIY owl toy is a perfect gift for Christmas.
First you want to draw out a owl template onto a piece of paper and cut it out with scissors. You can make the owl any size you want.
When you are done cutting the owl template out, trace it onto the fabric you want to use for the body of the owl two times with a pencil and cut two owls out with scissors.
Take one of the owls that will be on the front and draw on the eyes and a beak.
Then put some thread though a needle and sew the eyes and the beak on.
When you get done with sewing the eyes and the beak on, take your owl template and draw on the wings and cut the wings out of the template.
Then trace the wing templates onto the fabric you want to use for the wings and cut them out.
When you get the wings cut out, you want to pin both of the wings onto the fabric that has the face on it.
Then you want to pin both back sides of the owls together.
When the owl has been pinned together, you can start sewing the owl together with the thread being the same color as the owls body.
Start sewing from the back of the owl and start sewing on one of the wings. The knot from the thread will be on the back of the owl.
For the stitching on the owl, you want to put the needle into the back of the owl for each new stitch, run the thread through the fabric and keep going around the owl until you get to the second wing.
Make sure you leave a hole for the stuffing.
Then you can fill the owl with some pillow stuffing and sew the opening shut. Tie a knot with the thread and cut off any extra thread.
DIY Candy Treat Bag
All you have to do is take some plastic wrap and put some candy in the middle.
Then you have to pull the ends of the plastic wrap together and tie it together with some ribbon. If you want you can also put a tag onto the bag.
and that's it! In the comments down below let me know what you think about these DIY stocking stuffer ideas.
