5 Easy DIY Christmas Ornaments

Here I'm going to show you how to decorate clear ornaments in five different ways! I'll show you how to make marble ornaments, jewel ornaments, ribbon and bead filled ornaments. I'll also show you how to make glitter ornaments. All of these make great DIY Christmas tree decorations.

The marble ornaments are my favorite. Which one is your favorite?

You can learn how to make these by watching this video or read below.

DIY Ribbon Ornament

DIY Ribbon Ornament

You'll need:
A ornament of any size
Ribbon
Ribbon, twine, string or a ornament hook

1. All you have to do is take a roll of  ribbon that's any color and you want to stuff the ribbon through the hole of the ornament until you like how it looks.

2. Once you like how it looks you can cut off the ribbon you don't want. Then you can put the top back on.

3. You can also tie a piece of ribbon or twine into a loop on the ornament or you can use a hook so you can hang the ornament.

That's how you make this really simple and cute ornament.

You'll need:
A ornament of any size
Two or more colors of acrylic paint.
Ribbon, twine, string or a ornament hook

1. Take two or more colors of acrylic paint and you want to put paint into the ornament. You want to alternate the colors and you only want to add enough paint to cover the ornament.

2. Twist the ornament around until the ornament is completely covered. You can lightly tap the ornament with your hand to help the paint move around the ornament.

3. Once the ornament is covered you want to wipe off any paint thats on the outside of the ornament.

4. Then you want to stick it upside down in a cup for only a few minutes so the excess paint will come out and make sure you watch it so you don't lose to much paint.

5. Then you want to flip the ornament so the opening of the ornament is facing up and allow it to dry overnight. You want to move the ornament every now and then because the paint will move over time.

6. When the paint is dry you can put the top on the ornament. Then you can tie a piece of twine or ribbon on the ornament and you're all done.

I love how these ornaments came out. They're my favorites out of all of them.

DIY Glitter Ornament

You'll need:
A ornament of any size
Glitter
Mod Podge
Paintbrush
Ribbon, twine, string or a ornament hook

1. Tie a piece of ribbon or string onto the ornament or you can use a ornament hook and this is because you're going to hang the ornament to dry.

2. Brush on some Mod Podge onto to the ornament. You can either cover the whole ornament or you can cover half of the ornament like how I did.

3. Pour glitter onto the ornament.

4. Tap the ornament to get rid of any excess glitter and you want to hang it to dry.

If you get any glitter where you don't want it to be you can take a paintbrush and brush off the excess glitter.

When the Mod Podge is dry you're all done with this ornament. I think mine turned looking pretty.

2. Once you got all of the beads in the ornament you can put the top back on and tie a piece of ribbon into a loop onto the ornament and you're all done.

I love how this ornament looks and I also love how simple this ornament is

1. Take one or more colors of acrylic paint and put some paint into the ornament.

2. Twist the ornament until the ornament is covered.

3. Once the ornament is covered you want to put it upside down in a paper cup so the excess paint comes out and then you can put it right side up and wait for it dry.

4. When the paint is dry you can put the top back on the ornament and tie a piece of ribbon or twine onto it.

5. Take a paintbrush or a pencil and put a dot of Mod Podge where you want your jewels to go. Then you can stick the jewel on the dot of Mod Podge. You want to do this for the rest of the jewels.

Once you got all of the jewels on the ornament you can hang it to dry and when the ornament is dry you're all done.
