Hello there! In this post I'll show you how to make a geometric phone case in three different ways. Each geometric phone case is easy to make and I think all of them turned out looking really cute.
Which DIY phone case is your favorite? Mines the second one.
You can watch this video to learn how to make them!
Phone Case #1
1. Trace a clear phone case on a piece of cardstock paper that's in any color. Then you can cut the paper out with scissors and you can use an x-acto knife to cut out the camera hole.
2. Draw hexagons or another shape onto the paper with a pencil. You can draw as many shapes as you want and you can make any design that you want.
Something I did to make things easier was that I printed and cut out some hexagons in different sizes and then I traced them onto the paper. You can do this too or you can just draw them out with a pencil and a ruler.
3. When you're done drawing the hexagons or the shapes on you can color them in with anything that you want like with paint, markers, or with colored or patterned paper.
I made two hexagons out of scrapbook and cardstock paper and the way how I got them onto the paper is by tracing the hexagons I used earlier on a piece of scrapbook paper and on cardstock paper and then I cut them out.
After I was done cutting the hexagons out I glued them on with a glue stick.
For the last hexagon I colored it in with a marker.
4. When you like how it looks you can put the paper into the phone case and you're all done.
Phone Case #2
1. Trace a clear phone case on a piece of cardstock paper. Then you can cut the paper out with scissors. You can use an x-acto knife to cut out the camera hole.
2. Then you want to take a ruler and a pen and make lines in many different directions.
You can add as many lines as you want and each line can stop anywhere but they must connect to a line or to the edge of the paper.
3. Color some or all of the spaces with any color and you can use markers, colored pencils or something else to color in the spaces.
4. Put the paper into the phone case and you're all done.
Phone Case #3
1. The first thing you want to is that you want to trace a clear phone case on a piece of cardstock paper that's in any color and cut the paper out with scissors. You can use an x-acto knife to cut out the camera hole.
2. Take a pencil and ruler and you want to draw on lines and these divide the colors you're going to put on it. I only made three spots where I'll put colors but you can make as many spots as you want
3. Color in the spaces with paint, markers or with scrapbook paper.
I painted the top space pink and I kept the middle one white.
For the bottom space I traced the bottom half onto a piece of scrapbook paper and then I sized the paper down to fit that spot. Then I glued it to place with a glue stick.
4. When you like how it looks place the paper in the phone case and you're all done.
and that's how you make all of these geometric phone case ideas!
